A triple-bill of Latitude 49, Quince Contemporary Vocal Ensemble and Amos Gillespie includes the premieres of the poignant Haderekh: Blessing for the Road by Pulitzer Prize winning composer, Shulamit Ran, and Joe Clark’s not merely bad or broken, based on Creole and Mandinka songs, birdsongs, and Mardi Gras calls. Taimur Sullivan joins Gillespie in a performance of Lacework for alto and baritone saxophones.
